This information will only be used for the purposes of ensuring relevant survey invitations are sent to our members. It is not used for any selling or marketing purposes.
The main principles for membership and the way we treat our members are based on honesty. We ask our members to answer our surveys honestly. We do have our own quality checks to make sure surveys have been answered in an appropriate time, and sufficiently well. Members who do not follow these simple principles risk having their account deleted and losing their rewards.

Yes, of course. It is your choice of whether you want to complete a survey. If you haven’t completed a survey for a long while, you may receive an email from us checking whether you wish to continue being a member of BUZZ – THE PEOPLE’S PANEL.
That depends on the client and the subject. Most surveys cover your views about products, services, brands or matters of public opinion. Some surveys are designed to gauge consumer reaction to specific adverts or new products before they are launched. The majority of surveys are online, but on occasions you may be asked to participate in a product trial, or keep a diary, both of which offer opportunities for additional rewards.
This depends on the subject matter and type of survey. Our shortest surveys could be between 1 and 5 minutes, but other surveys could be up to 30 minutes. Sometimes we ask people to take part in telephone interviews or focus groups, or to provide feedback via a web cam, video diary or bulletin board.
Members can choose how many or few surveys they wish to do. This setting is in your personal profile page. By completing a full personal profile it is more likely you will receive relevant surveys. There is also a greater chance of being sent surveys if your profile is completed because you will meet more survey invitation criteria.
An error can occur on a survey for a couple of reasons.
- If cookies are not enabled on your browser, at the end of the survey you will not be recognized as a respondent and will receive a time out. Please make sure your cookies have been enabled.
- If you leave the survey open for an extended amount of time, the browser session will expire and you will be timed out from the survey.
- If you navigate away from the survey, you will be timed out and not be able to finish the survey.
- If you are not using a supported browser, have not enabled popups, do not have the latest version of Flash Media Player downloaded, you will be timed out and not able to complete the survey.
- If you have taken the survey from a device, such as a smartphone or tablet, that doesn’t support Flash Media you will be timed out and unable to complete the study.
- Whenever you are timed out from a survey, you will not be able to access it again. A new link cannot be sent and the survey cannot be reset.
If you have completed a full survey, the answer is YES. You may be asked to answer screening questions which decide your eligibility to answer surveys. If you do not fit the criteria for these screening questions, and do not go on to do the survey, you will not be paid for the few screening questions completed. We try to keep screening questions to a minimum, and recommend that your personal profile is up to date to ensure a greater chance of receiving survey invitations.
If we identify that a member has not been honest in undertaking a survey (e.g. giving meaningless answers, making up answers or completing the questionnaire much faster than is reasonable), we cannot reward this member. We reserve the right to delete members who have been found to be dishonest. Fortunately the vast majority of our members are honest and it is seldom necessary to stop rewards or disqualify members.
The amount of money you receive for our paid surveys depends on the length and type of survey (on average $ 0.25 – $15.00 or more per survey). Some surveys require offline diaries or product trials, in which case rewards are typically USD 15.00 – USD 30.00
Rewards for completed surveys are paid in cash via PayPal. You can draw down your rewards when you have a minimum USD 6.00 in your account, or alternatively save your rewards until you are ready to redeem them.
No, BUZZ – THE PEOPLE’S PANEL does not pay any rewards by voucher or cheque. We use PayPal because it is an efficient system, widely used and respected. It allows us to keep administration costs lower, and to pay our members more for their rewards.
Yes, this is how the rewards you earn are paid. If you don’t have a PayPal account, it is free to join and simple to set up. For more information on PayPal, and how to join please go to their website (www.paypal.com)
If you do not have an account with PayPal, PayPal will automatically set this up and send you details on how to login when the transfer is complete.

Yes it does. PayPal charges a 2% handling fee for transferring money to a panel members PayPal account. A transfer can be requested once the threshold USD 6.00 in your account is reached. BUZZ – THE PEOPLE’S PANEL does not make any money from Pay Pal, but if we didn’t use Pay Pal, we would have to introduce other payment systems which would also have a cost. Pay Pal charges are reasonable, and they are a trusted payment solutions provider.
Once you have reached the minimum balance of USD 6.00 and requested to transfer funds, the transfer of funds is instantaneous.
To begin, you must have a PayPal account. If you do not have one, please go to www.paypal.com and you will be able to open one there.
It is important that your PayPal account has the same email address connected as the email address you receive surveys to.
When using PayPal as a payment option, the money is paid out to a PayPal account with the same email address as the one used for receiving surveys. If you already have a PayPal account with a different email address you can add the email address you receive surveys to. This option can be found in your PayPal account under your profile settings. It is possible to connect up to 8 email addresses to one PayPal account.
- Login to your panel account.
- Click on “My Earned Points”
- Once you have reached the redeemable amount, click on the “update” button and your money will be transferred to your online account at PayPal.
- Please make sure that you login to your PayPal account to accept the transfer.
- Please note there is a fee of 2% per transaction for PayPal payments.
- If your rewards are left unclaimed for 30 days, the rewards will be returned to your panel account. Please attempt the transfer again.
This message is seen when PayPal is trying to connect to your panelist account. You will see your attempted transfer as “FAILED”. Please wait 2 to 4 days before re-attempting the transfer. The connection will correct itself and allow the transfer to take place.
